  • CLASSIFYING ADJECTIVES INTO TYPES
  • 1Write on board: 'Kofi has three new exercise books.' 'The red pen belongs to Akua.' Read from Textbook: model passage identifying quality adjectives (new, red) and quantity adjectives (three). Learners copy sentences and circle the adjectives
  • 2Learners open Exercise book and list 5 adjectives from the board sentences under headings: Quality and Quantity
  • 3Play Audio recording of market trader dialogue. Learners identify and write down three adjectives they hear describing goods or traders
