Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about generating, downloading, and managing your lesson notes.
Generating Notes
7 questionsGo to Generate from the dashboard. Follow the step-by-step wizard: choose your class, subject, strand, sub-strand, week ending date, duration, number of days, and your confidence level. Then hit Generate — your note is ready in under a minute.
Fairly Sure is the default and works for most teachers — it gives well-structured notes with clear guidance. More Confident produces leaner notes with fewer explanations, ideal if you already know the topic well. Need Guidance gives the most detailed, step-by-step notes with extra scaffolding.
You can generate for 1 to 5 days in a single note, matching your timetable for that week. Each day gets its own Phase 1 (Starter), Phase 2 (Main activity), Phase 3 (Reflection), and Exercise.
It tells the AI how long each lesson period is so it generates content that realistically fits your class time. You can pick a preset (30, 45, 60, 70, 80, 90, 120 mins) or type any value between 30 and 120 minutes.
It is the academic week of the term (e.g. Week 5). It appears on the printed note for record-keeping. Type it in manually — the system leaves it blank so you fill in the correct value for your school's term calendar.
No — the strand and sub-strand are required. They come directly from the Ghana NaCCA/CCP curriculum and ensure your note is aligned to the right content standard and indicators.
Generation time depends on the number of days selected and how detailed your confidence level is. A 5-day note on "Need Guidance" style takes the longest. Typically notes are ready in 30–90 seconds.
Credits
6 questionsCredits are the currency used to generate notes on LogicTC Notes. Each note generation costs a set number of credits depending on the number of days selected.
The cost depends on the number of days in your note. A 1-day note costs fewer credits than a 5-day note. You can see the exact cost on the generate page before you submit.
Go to Credits from the dashboard and choose a top-up package. Payment is processed securely via Paystack using Mobile Money or card.
No — your credits do not expire. They stay in your account until you use them.
No. If a generation fails before completing, your credits are not deducted. Credits are only consumed on a successful note.
Yes. If your school is on a Head Teacher account, the HT can allocate credits to teachers under their school.
Schemes of Work
5 questionsA scheme of work is your full term plan — a week-by-week breakdown of what you will teach. LogicTC can auto-generate a scheme for your class and subject based on the Ghana curriculum, or you can build one manually.
Go to Schemes from the dashboard, pick your class and subject, and tap Create Default Scheme. The system fills in the weeks using the NaCCA curriculum sequence. You can then edit any row.
Bulk generate lets you generate lesson notes for multiple weeks from your scheme in one go. Select the rows you want, tap Bulk Generate, and the system queues them up. This saves a lot of time at the start of term.
Yes — you can add, edit, or remove rows at any time. Changes to a scheme do not affect notes you have already generated from it.
No. You can generate individual notes directly from the Generate page without a scheme. Schemes are optional but useful for planning your full term in advance.
Styles & Themes
4 questionsTraditional is the classic GES weekly lesson plan table format — Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3 across columns with days as rows. Standard is a more modern structured layout, better suited to detailed typed notes. Traditional is the default.
Several themes are available including GES Classic (clean black and white), and coloured variants. You can also download a Black & White version of any note, which is ink-friendly for printing.
Go to Settings from your profile. You can set your preferred PDF layout and theme there — it will apply to all future notes you generate.
Yes. Open the note, go to the PDF/Download options, and you can switch the layout or theme before downloading. The content stays the same.
Downloads & Printing
4 questionsOpen the note from My Notes, then tap Download PDF. You can choose between coloured or black-and-white versions.
The Black & White version is recommended for printing — it uses less ink and looks clean on paper. The coloured version is better for sharing digitally.
Yes. The portal is fully mobile-friendly. The PDF will download to your phone and you can open it with any PDF viewer or share it directly to WhatsApp.
Yes. Open the note, tap Edit, make your changes, save, then download again.
Submission & Approval
3 questionsOpen the note and tap Submit for Approval. Your Head Teacher will receive a notification and can approve or return it with remarks.
No — once submitted, the note is locked. If the Head Teacher returns it, you can then edit and resubmit.
The note is marked as approved and a signature stamp appears on the PDF. The SISO/Circuit Supervisor can also sign off if your school uses that workflow.
